Austin District Music Teachers Association (ADMTA) Honors Strait Music Company
November 16, 2011 Austin, Texas
To show our support and appreciation, Austin District Music Teachers Association (ADMTA) presented Strait Music Company representatives Omega Kennard and Brittany Crittenden with a plaque during our November 7th monthly meeting.
The plaque's inscription reads, 'Presented To Strait Music Company, in grateful appreciation for the many years of support, outstanding service and dedication to Central Texas Musicians from Austin District Music Teachers Association.'
Strait Music, a local family-owned business, has provided a location for our monthly meetings, and so much more for these past 25 years. The motto of Strait Music, 'Where Customers Find Friends,' rings so true.
Our friend, Omega Kennard, is soon to retire after 25 years of service in the sheet music department at Strait. She was presented with a clock with this inscription, 'In appreciation for all of your time to serve ADMTA members over the past 25 years.'
In addition, 10 of the 11 Past Presidents of ADMTA, with years of service starting in 1987, were in attendance. They were presented with engraved desk wedges listing their names, ADMTA Past-President, and years of service to the organization.
